Pre-Assembly- Drill Team Masterson Staffing has partnered with a valued client in Chatfield, MN. We are looking for a reliable drill operator on 2nd shift! Shift: 2nd - 3PM-11PM Pay rate: $18.75/hrBenefits: Vacation Pay, Holiday Pay, Health Insurance, 401K Duties:
Set up and operate the drill.
Set up and operate the notcher.
Follow prints and orders from Production Control to determine the type of product needed and how it is to be prepared (cut to length, position of holes to be drilled, etc.) before passing on to GFL, Fabrication or Shipping.
Know how to do quality checks on drilled bars.
Compile data as trained to assist in quality control and scrap management.
Work overtime as business needs required
Dispose of scrap material and keep area clean
Ensure that operating procedures are followed according to schedule
Maintain accurate records of production and quality measurements
Monitor quality control of products
Skills:
Experience in drilling operations is a plus!
Familiarity with machine operation procedures and protocols
Knowledge of drilling techniques for specialized projects
Close attention to detail
Mechanically inclined and able to read a tape measure
Able to work and lead with minimal supervision
Excellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork and problem-solving skills are essential
Strong emphasis on quality, productivity, and safety
