Schedule and coordinate inbound and outbound freight (LTLs).
Ship and receive product according to department standards.
Scan and file receipts of inbound and outbound shipments.
Communicate verbally & via calendar shipping and receiving schedules and delegate coverage as needed.
Perform routine cycle counts and make recommendations for inventory adjustments.
Identify, investigate and correct inventory discrepancies.
Inventory and replenish raw materials to the plant warehouse.
Maintain excellent housekeeping of coolers and warehouses.
Work between 2 locations
Other duties as assigned.
Qualification/Requirements:
Three or more years’ previous warehouse experience preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites.
Ability to work alone with little or no direction.
Previous forklift experience.
Previous logistics and scanning experience preferred.
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent skills by experience.
Must be able to read, interpret and understand written and oral directions.
Must be able to verbally communicate, understand, and write in the English language.
Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends when needed.
Driver’s License
Physical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit, stand or walk for prolonged periods of time. The employee is required to use hands and fingers to operate, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms on a repetitive basis. The employee must be able to push/pull/exert force up to 100 to move objects and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Requires visual acuity to review written documentations; ability to hear and understand speech. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above the ambient noise level. There is exposure to a variety of physical conditions such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, and exposure to heat/cold temperature changes.
