Masterson Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing facility. This is a Direct Hire position located in Carpentersville, IL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various equipment and systems to ensure optimal operational efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices, and the ability to read and interpret schematics.
Duties:
Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Utilize precision measuring instruments to diagnose electrical issues.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
Collaborate with other maintenance staff to identify areas for improvement in operational efficiency.
Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to guide repair efforts.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.
Ability to lift up to 60lbs
Experience
Proven experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing facility is preferred.
Some knowledge of PLC's, Hydraulics a plus
Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in industrial settings.
Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments for troubleshooting purposes.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective collaboration.
