Purpose: The Cell Technician is responsible for ensuring that the work cell meets all Safety, Quality, Productivity, & Housekeeping standards. Cell Technicians will perform the set-up and programming of equipment, the loading & unloading of materials, and training of employees. Job Responsibilities • Load and unload materials using a forklift or other Powered Industrial Equipment. • Set-up and program equipment using a daily production schedule. • Track work center data using computer systems and communication boards. • Train and coach work center employees using Standard Operating Procedures. • Ensure 6S and housekeeping standards are met. • Troubleshoot issues and coordinate required support. • Communicate with shift leadership, support resources, and opposite shift counterparts. • Perform other duties as needed: including production break and vacation coverage, vent activities, and special projects. Experience/Skills: • Experience using Powered Industrial Equipment (forklift) • Basic computer skills • Basic math skills • Written & verbal communication skills Working Conditions: Safety is of utmost concern in the work environment because of moving machinery and products that are sharp.
