2nd shift Assembly– Job DescriptionShift: 3PM-11PM Monday-Friday $17.75/hr Benefits: Vacation Pay, Holiday Pay, Health Insurance, 401K Summary: Though the day-to-day duties and responsibilities of an Assembler are dependent on the field of manufacturing, it involves interpreting product blueprints and handling various tools. An Assembler should be a people person who can work well with a team and collaborate with people from other departments. Duties and Responsibilities:· Operate and monitor the manufacturing process· Ensure that operating procedures are followed according to schedule· Maintain accurate records of production and quality measurements· Monitor quality control of products· Be able to communicate with co-workers and supervisors· Learn and maintain documentation and procedures for Department· Perform quality control checks on finished products· Stack finished product on crates for Shipping· Dispose of scrap material and keep area clean· Learn other areas in Manufacturing process as needed Job Requirements· Close attention to detail· Able to read and write the English language· Mechanically inclined and able to read a tape measure· Able to work and lead with minimal supervision· Excellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork and problem-solving skills are essential· Strong emphasis on quality, productivity, and safety· High school diploma or equivalent preferred
