Masterson Staffing has a 1st shift CNC Machinist position available in Shoreview below are the details of this position if you are interested and have the required skills and experience please contact our Little Canada office at 952 835-4090 Primary Duties:
Set-up, adjusts, operate and edit program a variety of machines, which will include CNC mills and or CNC lathes and which may include manual mills, manual lathes.
Checks and inspects machining operations against specified tolerances.
Assist with layout, set up, operating and making tool adjustments for various types of manual, numerically controlled and computerized machine shop equipment.
Works from complex blueprints, process sheets and sketches to perform production tasks, which may include the cutting and shaping of metal to precision dimensions.
Minimal supervision to set up and operate all available machine tools to perform various machine operations on parts that are made from various materials.
Requirements Required:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
Graduate of a Voc-tech machinist program and 1+ years of experience.
No formal education or training will require 5+ years of directly related machining experience.
Desired:
Experience working in a machine shop in a high technology environment
