Masterson Staffing Solutions is recruiting laser operators for our Client Customer in Hutchinson, MN! In this position, the laser operator will be responsible for the operation of our laser systems according to specific drawing specifications. Duties will include the loading and unloading of parts or materials, operating the laser systems, and other production tasks. Qualified candidates will be proficient at reading manufacturing drawings (blueprints) and be able to use proper measurement equipment to maintain quality and drawing tolerances. The job will be a full-time position ranging 32-50 hours per week, depending on production needs. We enforce mandatory overtime when we are in an intense work period. During such periods, work hours may vary. The applicant for this position must be flexible. Responsibilities
Perform proper laser system start-up and shutdown daily, including checking and verifying that equipment is ready for operation and the necessary supplies are available
Perform laser processing operations efficiently and effectively per work order specifications
Adhere to proper procedures for cleanliness, paperwork, quality control, measurements, product handling, product packaging in all aspects of laser processing activities
Complete detailed paperwork (Certificate of Compliance, Inspection Sheets, etc.) containing job data information
Visually inspect and use inspection equipment to verify products processing against work order requirements
Maintain a clean work environment within the cleanroom and facility
May perform general equipment maintenance according to procedures
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Physical Requirements
Long periods of sitting can be expected in this position
Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling can also be expected in this position
Good hand/eye coordination, finger dexterity, and mechanical aptitude; fingers need to be able to make small movements such as picking up small to large parts
Exposure to typical laser processing areas will be required daily and will require the use of laser safety glasses when laser processing is in progress
Special Class 10,000 gowning will be required to be worn for all laser processing in our cleanroom (includes frock, boot covers, gloves, head covers, beard covers)
