Job Summary: The Paint Line Helper supports the painting department by assisting in the preparation, hanging, loading, and unloading of parts on the paint line. This role ensures smooth operation of the paint line and helps maintain product quality, cleanliness, and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:
Assist with hanging, prepping, and removing parts from the paint line
Ensure proper placement and spacing of parts to meet quality and production standards
Load and unload painted parts while inspecting for proper coverage, runs, or defects
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or masking as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning hooks, racks, and surrounding workspace
Support paint line operators and technicians with material handling and setup
Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times
Identify and report equipment issues or defective parts to supervisors
Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
