JOB PURPOSE We are seeking a talented and experienced Samples Maker to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality sample products and assisting the production team as necessary to meet production goals. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 1. Regular & consistent attendance.2. Interpreting product requirements to create sales samples for use by customers.3. Operating and maintaining simple machinery and equipment for making samples. 4. Monitoring and controlling product quality during the production process.5. Maintaining a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.6. Collaborating other team members to ensure production is completed on time and to the required standards.7. Keeping up-to-date with new materials, techniques and production processes. OTHER FUNCTIONS May perform other job-related duties as assigned. SUPERVISON AND SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES No supervisory responsibilities. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS 1. Requires high school diploma or GED.2. Experience using power tools such as Belt Sander, Power Drill a plus.3. Proven experience as a samples maker or similar role is preferred.4. Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail is critical.5. Ability to work with a variety of materials, including textiles, plastics, coatings, and metals6. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.8. Good time management and organizational skills. MENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to work and interact with many different people as part of a team. Maintain calm under pressure of possible scrapped batches, missed deadlines, reworking of product. Must have good balance to frequently work in elevated areas, meet requirements to wear respirators and achieve a complete seal, e.g., clean shaven; full vision capability (near and far with correction acceptable). Occasional contact with dirt, dust, heat, cold, noise, fumes, odors, wetness and poor lighting. Contact with mechanical, electrical and chemical hazards. Frequent stooping, bending, pulling, lifting, standing, kneeling. Must be able to lift 50 Lbs. SCHEDULEMonday - Thursday 6:30AM - 5:00PM Benefits:
