Warehouse:Shift: 8:30AM-5PM Monday-FridayPay: $18-20/hr Benefits: Vacation Pay, Holiday Pay, Health Insurance, 401K POSITION SUMMARY: Warehouses are fast-paced environments where workers must cooperate to safely and quickly complete tasks, so you must be a good team player. You will also need to pay close attention and work hard to keep things moving smoothly. This might include picking up and moving goods, keeping track of inventory, scanning, and labelling items, filling out invoices, and more. You might think of warehouse associates as the backbone of the warehouse, always keeping things going. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Completes shipments by processing and loading orders.
Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
Completes deliveries by driving truck or van to and from vendors.
Maintains truck or van by completing preventive maintenance requirements and arranging for repairs.
Enforces inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.
Provides quality service by following organization standards.
Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
Promotes clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Completes reports by entering required information.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Other duties, as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: • Ability to use a ruler or tape measure to measure in Imperial and metric increments. Must be able to measure to 1/16th of an inch and in millimeters. • Ability to learn, navigate and use all proprietary company and equipment software. • Good verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work effectively with customers and other employees. • Must possess excellent skills in working in a team environment.
