We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other heavy equipment to efficiently move, load, and unload materials. This role requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations. 2nd shift Monday-Friday3:15p-11:45pm; overtime as required $19.75 Responsibilities
Operate forklifts, including clamp trucks and pallet jacks, to transport materials within the warehouse.
Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate inventory management.
Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory levels and order fulfillment.
Conduct order picking and prepare items for shipment according to customer specifications.
Assist in heavy lifting and moving of products as required by operational needs.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues immediately.
Requirements
Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically forklifts and pallet jacks.
Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes within a warehouse setting.
Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is preferred.
Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as needed throughout the shift.
Experience with RF scanners for inventory tracking is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices in the workplace.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a busy environment.
At least 6 months experience.
