Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various machines, with a plus for those familiar with printing presses and die-cutting machines. This role involves setting up, running, and maintaining equipment to ensure efficient production while maintaining high-quality standards and safety protocols.Responsibilities
Operate and monitor machinery to ensure smooth production processes.
Set up machines according to specifications, including adjustments for different materials and products.
Inspect products for quality, ensuring they meet company standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues to prevent downtime.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance.
Follow safety guidelines and company procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
Maintain accurate records of production, machine performance, and any issues encountered.
Experience
Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or production environment.
Experience with printing presses or die-cutting machines is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and machine instructions.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Attention to detail to ensure product quality and prevent defects.
Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Basic math skills for measurements and adjustments.
Ability to lift and move materials as needed (up to [50] lbs).
