Overview We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, responsible for executing high-quality painting and finishing work in both residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of color theory, construction techniques, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively on construction sites.Shift - 1st 5:30AM-1:30PM M-FriDuties
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as necessary.
Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and airless paint spraying equipment.
Execute residential and commercial painting projects with precision and care.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.
Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
Perform plastering, caulking, and trim carpentry as needed to enhance the final appearance of painted surfaces.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition; utilize hand tools and power tools safely.
Assist in renovation and restoration projects by applying appropriate painting techniques.
Provide maintenance services related to painting tasks as required.
Qualifications
Proven experience in construction painting with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Knowledge of color theory and its application in various environments.
Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus.
Experience with plastering, stucco application, concrete finishing, masonry work, and industrial painting is desirable.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to projects.
Experience with fixture installation and renovation tasks is beneficial.
Maintenance Person experience or carpentry skills are an advantage for this role.
