Job Summary: As a 1st Shift Quality Control professional, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and consistency of our products and services. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be instrumental in identifying and addressing any issues, ensuring our customers receive the best possible experience.
Key Responsibilities: - Inspect incoming and outgoing products to ensure they meet established quality standards - Identify and document any defects or non-conformity, and work with the team to implement corrective actions - Perform routine checks and tests on equipment and processes to maintain optimal performance - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve quality control procedures - Maintain detailed records and reports on quality metrics and performance indicators
Qualifications: - Proven experience in a quality control or inspection role, preferably in a logistics or manufacturing environment - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Proficient in using quality control tools and techniques - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities - High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus
Working Conditions: This position is based in our distribution center, where you will be responsible for performing quality checks and inspections in a fast-paced, warehouse environment. The role may require standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and operating various equipment.
Compensation: This is a temporary position with a target pay rate of $18 per hour.
