This role involves handling various machinery such as depalletizers, can conveyor systems, lid feeders, fillers, seamers, can x-rays, can coders, metal detectors, dewatering belts, hydrostats, and associated conveyors. Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate filling equipment, including depalletizers, can conveyor systems, lid feeders, fillers, seamers, can x-rays, can coders, metal detectors, and associated conveyors.
Quality Monitoring: Continuously monitor filling processes to ensure adherence to product quality standards and packaging integrity.
Maintenance: Perform basic preventive maintenance tasks and corrective work orders to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Documentation: Accurately complete daily paperwork, documenting all required operational checks, and maintaining records and logs as mandated by FDA and USDA regulations.
Safety and Compliance: Maintain proper safety conditions of equipment and company assets, adhering to all safety protocols and quality programs to ensure the production of safe, quality foods.
Collaboration: Work as part of a team within the assigned Business Unit, participating in team meetings, training new employees, and assisting in problem-solving to achieve business unit goals aligned with company objectives.
Process Improvement: Identify and correct equipment problems to maximize production efficiencies and make necessary machine adjustments to prevent deviations in product quality.
