This role supports safety, compliance, and quality by managing sanitation processes, assisting with continuous improvements to sanitation practices, and working closely with Quality Assurance and production teams to produce safe, quality food products.Key Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with company, customer, regulatory, and consumer sanitation standards throughout the facility.Partner with Quality Assurance to support and implement quality and food safety programs.Oversee, implement, review, and develop sanitation policies, procedures, and systems consistent with company standards.Conduct ATP monitoring and sanitation validation activities; analyze trends and recommend corrective/preventive actions.Develop, audit, verify, and improve sanitation programs including MSS (Microbiological Sanitation Standard), SSOPs (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures), pest control, and chemical management.Work with Maintenance and Production to identify work orders and preventative maintenance needs to maintain quality of sanitation.Perform specialized cleaning assignments as needed.Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to lockout/tagout (LOTO) safety standards.
