Assembly Technician Job DescriptionPosition Summary:The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling parts, components, or products according to company specifications and quality standards. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and working efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Assemble products or components using hand tools, power tools, or machinery
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and assembly instructions
Inspect parts for defects and ensure quality standards are met
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times
Meet daily production goals and deadlines
Report equipment malfunctions or quality concerns to supervisors
Assist with packaging and labeling finished products as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred but not required
Ability to use basic hand and power tools
Strong attention to detail
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 25–50 pounds (if applicable)
