A Press Feeder at Huhtamaki supports printing operations by supplying materials to printing presses, maintaining production flow, and ensuring quality standards for food packaging products.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
Load paperboard, cartons, or other materials into printing presses.
Assist press operators with machine setup, operation, and changeovers.
Monitor material flow to ensure continuous production.
Inspect printed products for color, alignment, print quality, and defects.
Remove defective materials and report quality issues.
Maintain an adequate supply of ink, paper, and other production materials.
Keep the press area clean, organized, and compliant with 5S and safety standards.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety procedures, and company policies.
Complete production paperwork and assist with inventory of materials.
Help perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance on equipment.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous manufacturing, printing, or packaging experience is an advantage.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to work around industrial machinery.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, and in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
