Process orders by physically scanning and picking product and placing onto a cart. Items range between 2-50 lbs in weight.
Arrange product to fit into various gaylords (large cardboard box that is placed on a pallet).
Go into our computer to make sure everything has processed systemically.
Take finished gaylords to the pallet wrapper and stage them, place into our racks, or load them into a box truck. (Forklift experience required for these steps).
Experience on equipment is not required for Walmart pickers, but if a candidate has reach truck (stand up forklift) or sit-down forklift experience, then it could impact the starting wage. Order Packer/Processor (Small parcel) 18/hr
Verify all items on the pick ticket are accurate. If not, notify the team lead.
Pack all items into the right sized cardboard box and stuff with packaging materials.
Process order in our two separate computer systems (basic computer knowledge is required).
Create Fed Ex/ UPS label using their portal.
Stack finished package onto pallets (packages will range between 2-55 lbs).
Order Picker LTL/Customer Orders $18-19/hr DOE
Operate a Cherry picker to pick product from our racks. Scan guns will be used to scan product and locations.
Physically stack product onto pallets. Some stacking will be performed up to 20-25 feet in the air.
Assist with operating a pallet wrapping machine.
Inbound Receiving $18-20/hr
Proficient use of a reach truck (stand up forklift) to stow away incoming product.
Use a scan gun to move product in our system to mirror any physical movements of product.
Ability to read Bills of Lading, packing lists and various attached paperwork attached to incoming freight.
Perform cycle counts to investigate inventory discrepancies.
Unloading and loading palletized product from containers/trailers using a sit-down forklift.
Ability to read a delivery schedule from our computer to ensure we unload in the correct sequence.
Loading the outbound orders on the correct trucks or drop trailers.
Except for Order Picker LTL/Customer Orders and Loader/Unloader, we prefer the candidate is very fluent in English and has basic computer skills.
