Industrial Maintenance MechanicBilingual Required: English / SpanishPosition Summary The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for preventive and corrective maintenanceof manufacturing equipment across the plant. This role requires strong mechanical and electricaltroubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently across multiple production lines.Bilingual communication is essential for coordinating with operators, supervisors, and externalcontractors. Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on manufacturing machinery per established
Schedules
Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical failures
Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
Install, align, and test new or repaired equipment to ensure proper operation
Respond promptly to production breakdowns to minimize downtime
Maintain accurate maintenance logs, PM completion records, and parts usage
Documentation
Communicate equipment status and repair needs clearly to supervisors and operators in
English and Spanish
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in equipment reliability and uptime
Maintain the maintenance shop and parts area in a clean and organized condition
Follow all LOTO (lockout/tagout), safety, and environmental compliance procedures
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong mechanical aptitude; experience with conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pneumatics, and hydraulics
Electrical troubleshooting experience: 480V 3-phase, PLCs, VFDs, and contro! panels a plus ability to weld (MIG/stick) preferred
Bilingual English/Spanish required; must read, write, and communicate effectively in both languages
Ability to interpret technical drawings and equipment manuals
Experience with CMMS or maintenance tracking systems preferred
Must be able to lift up to 75 Ibs, work at heights, and perform tasks in confined spaces
Available for on-call coverage and overtime as needed
Schedule Full-time. Day shift with potential for rotating or on-call coverage. Overtime as required
