This position is responsible for reading and interpreting work orders and engineering drawings to determine masking requirements, applying tape, paper, plugs, and other materials to protect surfaces prior to painting, inspecting parts to ensure precise coverage, and carefully removing masking materials after painting without leaving residue. The role also includes maintaining tools and equipment, following all safety procedures, working collaboratively to meet production and quality standards, and keeping the work area clean and organized.
