Paint Line Helper Job DescriptionPosition Summary: The Paint Line Helper assists in the preparation, hanging, painting, and finishing of parts on a production paint line. This role supports painters and operators to ensure parts are processed efficiently, safely, and according to quality standards.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Hang and remove parts from the paint line conveyor
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or masking as required
Assist with loading and unloading materials
Inspect parts before and after painting for defects
Perform touch-ups as directed
Maintain cleanliness of the paint booth and surrounding area
Follow safety procedures, including proper use of PPE
Dispose of waste materials according to company guidelines
Support production goals and maintain workflow
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous manufacturing or paint line experience preferred but not required
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Work Environment:
Manufacturing setting
Exposure to paint fumes, chemicals, and loud noise
Requires use of PPE such as gloves, masks/respirators, and safety glasses
Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motion
