This role works on production/finished goods lines and may rotate across assembly, labeling, boxing, palletizing, and basic quality checks to ensure products meet specification and are packed correctly. AERON’s Mason City operations include injection molding, automated assembly, fragrance filling, and packaging, so the ability to follow standardized work instructions and maintain a strong quality focus is critical. Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesAssembly (Production / Finished Goods Lines)
Assemble components into finished products using written work instructions, visual aids, and standard procedures.
Perform repetitive assembly tasks accurately while maintaining expected line speed and efficiency.
Operate or assist with production equipment used in assembly/packaging lines (as trained), including simple fixtures/jigs and line tools.
Verify correct parts/components are used, and ensure assemblies meet specification before passing to next step.
Pack Out / Packaging
Package finished goods into cartons or retail-ready packaging per customer and product requirements.
Confirm correct product and quantity are being packed; match SKU/item, count, and packaging configuration to work order.
Tape, label, and stage cartons for shipment; apply shipping labels and product labels accurately.
Build pallets, wrap, and move finished goods to staging/warehouse locations as required.
Support pack out system / distribution activities including B2B and B2C order preparation and drop ship packing (as assigned).
Quality & Documentation
Perform in-process quality checks (visual inspection, count verification, label verification) and immediately report defects, damage, or discrepancies.
Complete basic production paperwork or electronic entries (counts, scrap, downtime reasons, lot tracking) as required.
Maintain traceability by following lot/date coding, label controls, and product identification rules (as trained).
Safety, Housekeeping, and Teamwork
Follow all safety policies, PPE requirements, and safe work practices; keep work area clean and organized (5S mindset).
