Our client company in Annandale is seeking a dedicated Shipping Associate for the first shift, to join our dynamic logistics team. This role involves supporting the efficient movement of goods through accurate customer order fulfillment and maintaining organized warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a strong interest in warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
Pick customer sales orders and palletize large items(orders) as needed. Ensure accuracy in what items are picked and quantities.
Load small parcel trailers with packages.
Replenish packaging material and re-label product as needed to fulfill sales orders.
Requirements
Basic knowledge of all tools and equipment used in department.
Basic knowledge of PC.
Ability to prioritize work and move from one job to the next effectively.
Basic problem-solving skills.
Basic math and reading skills.
Basic knowledge of manufacturing software.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Basic knowledge of all safety procedures.
Basic knowledge of all department policies and procedures.
