Basic understanding of importing supply chains and US import process. HTS & FTA experience or background in customs compliance preferred. CTPAT or drawback experience a plus
Review and generate excel reports of import and export data, manipulation of excel data from multiple sources/formats. Pulling and reviewing official customs documentation and supplier invoices for accuracy.
Ability to stay current with the changing tariff landscape and capable of learning new regulations and developing new procedures when changes occur.
Product research to determine accurate HS codes and review of tariff schedules to determine duty rates.
Prepare and generate certificates of origin, as well as supplier solicitations for certificates of origin
Data management and analytic skills, including Microsoft Excel skills. Project management and strong organizational skills desired. Communication skills to communicate with US customs, vendors & customers
