Rate of Pay: $18.751st shift hours: 3pm-11pm, M-F, OT as neededBenefits: Vacation Pay, Holiday Pay, Heath Insurance, 401K Job Summary: The Pultrusion Operator is responsible for manufacturing high-quality fiberglass-reinforced polymer (FRP) products using the pultrusion process. This role involves operating and monitoring machinery, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe and efficient production environment.Key Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and monitor pultrusion machines to produce composite materials to specification
Feed fiberglass reinforcements through resin baths and guide materials through heated dies
Mix resins and maintain proper ratios for production requirements
Perform quality checks, including measuring dimensions and inspecting finished products for defects
Adjust machine settings to maintain consistent product quality and production efficiency
Cut, label, and package finished materials according to work orders
Complete production reports, process documentation, and quality records accurately
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report major problems to maintenance or supervisors
Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and handling of chemicals
