Techniplas has long-term relationships with many of the world’s leading automotive and industrial OEMs. Position Summary Quality The Quality Inspector ensures automotive components and assemblies meet required standards of quality and performance. This role involves inspecting parts, materials, and processes throughout production to maintain compliance with customer specifications and internal quality requirements. Ideal for someone early in their career who already has some hands-on experience in automotive or manufacturing inspection. Key Responsibilities • Perform visual and dimensional inspections on incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and finished automotive products. • Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) to verify product conformity. • Identify, document, and report non-conformances and assist in root cause and corrective action activities. • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), inspection plans, and engineering drawings. • Support process audits and maintain accurate inspection records and reports. • Communicate effectively with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve quality issues. • Ensure compliance with ISO/TS 16949 or IATF 16949 standards and company quality systems. • Maintain a clean and organized inspection area and uphold all safety policies. Arnold Quality Inspector Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in manufacturing, quality, or automotive fields preferred. • 1–2 years of experience in quality inspection, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry. • Basic understanding of quality principles, inspection methods, and measurement techniques. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. • Familiarity with automotive quality standards (IATF 16949, PPAP, SPC, etc.) a plus. • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and teamwork mindset. • Basic computer skills (MS Office, data entry into quality management systems). Physical Requirements • Ability to stand, walk, and handle tools or parts for extended periods. • Lift up to 25–30 lbs occasionally. • Work in a production/warehouse environment with moderate noise and activity. WORKING CONDITIONS: The work environment characteristics described are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. • Works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to vibration. • Is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and moderate heat and cold. • Works where the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
