Job Description

The Quality Inspector role is responsible for inspecting, machined parts or products for defects, and deviations from blueprint specificationsDuties

Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, or work to blueprint specifications.
Document data obtained during all quality assurance activities, consistent with company policies and procedures.

Education

Highschool diploma or equivalent

Experience

A two-year trade school certification or equivalent of 3 years of related field experience
3 years of experience using precision measurement tools including micrometers, height gauges, calipers
3 years of experience in metrology print interpretation, understanding of geometric dimensions and interpreting tolerance

Technical Skills

Blueprint reading and interpretation
Fundamental knowledge of dimensional tolerance
Report writing skills
Knowledge of mathematics
