Job Summary As the 1st Shift Warehouse Production Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and production activities within our warehouse. You will lead a team of warehouse associates, ensuring efficient and accurate order fulfillment, inventory management, and adherence to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities - Supervise and coordinate the work of warehouse associates, including scheduling, task assignment, and performance monitoring - Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of raw materials, components, and finished goods - Implement and maintain effective inventory control systems to optimize warehouse efficiency - Monitor production metrics and identify opportunities for process improvements - Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards - Provide training and mentorship to warehouse staff to enhance their skills and productivity
Qualifications - 3 years of experience in a warehouse or production lead role - Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team - Proficient in warehouse operations, including picking, packing, and inventory management - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities - Familiarity with warehouse management systems and related technology - Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
Working Conditions This position requires working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Occasional overtime may be required to meet production demands. The work involves standing, lifting, and the use of warehouse equipment.
