Job Summary
As a Small Pump Assembly professional, you will play a crucial role in the production and assembly of our industry-leading industrial pumps. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will ensure the reliable and safe operation of our equipment, which is essential to the success of our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble small-scale industrial pumps and related components according to blueprints and specifications
- Perform mechanical assembly tasks, including fitting, aligning, and testing pump components
- Ensure the quality and functionality of assembled pumps through rigorous testing and inspection
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to support efficient production
- Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in assembly, mechanical assembly, or production roles
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- High school diploma or equivalent
Working Conditions
This position is based in our Lenexa manufacturing facility. The work environment is fast-paced and can involve exposure to noise, vibration, and various manufacturing equipment. Candidates must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work a flexible schedule that may include overtime.
Compensation and Benefits
This is a temporary-to-hire position with a target pay rate of $19 per hour. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
