Position SummaryThe Stockroom Floater is a flexible warehouse support role responsible for assisting with stockroom, inventory, and receiving operations to ensure production runs efficiently. This position primarily focuses on kitting materials for production while providing support in receiving, inventory control, and other warehouse functions as needed. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Essential ResponsibilitiesStockroom & Kitting
Accurately pick materials and components for production orders.
Prepare, stage, and deliver production kits in a timely manner.
Replenish inventory and maintain organized stockroom locations.
Ensure production has the materials needed to meet daily schedules.
Follow inventory control procedures to maintain accuracy.
Receiving
Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
Verify shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
Process received materials according to company procedures.
Organize incoming inventory and maintain a clean receiving area.
Assist with loading and unloading deliveries as needed.
Inventory Control
Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventories.
Investigate and report inventory discrepancies.
Help maintain accurate inventory records and locations.
Support inventory audits and material tracking.
General Warehouse Support
Cross-train and assist in multiple warehouse functions based on business needs.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Complete additional duties as assigned to support warehouse and production operations.
Qualifications
Previous warehouse, stockroom, inventory, or manufacturing experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic computer and data entry skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing workloads.
Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the workday.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
