            <description><![CDATA[<br>Position Summary:&nbsp;<br> <br>The Production Operator is responsible for ensuring product quality and consistency by accurately following recipes and established production protocols for all Karlsburger Foods, Inc. products. This role also supports inventory management, order fulfillment, and warehouse management. The position requires attention to detail, ability to work in a team-oriented environment, and adherence to all food safety and sanitation standards.&nbsp;<br> <br>Essential Functions and Responsibilities:&nbsp;<br> <br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; Set up and operate mixers, blenders/grinders, packaging, steam kettles and related equipment for &nbsp; batch mixing processing.<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; Weigh and measure ingredients accurately using digital and analog scales.<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; Follow detailed recipes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to mix ingredients.<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; Record batch information including lot numbers, weights, and temperatures.<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; Conduct in-process quality checks to verify product consistency.<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; Clean and sanitize mixing and packaging equipment and workstations according to sanitation SOPs.<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; Rotate raw materials and finished goods using FIFO (First-In-First-Out) practices.<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; Assist in unloading, staging, and returning raw materials.<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; Ensure all food safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines are followed.<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; Identify and report any equipment malfunctions, quality deviations, or safety hazards to the supervisor.<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; Support inventory and production documentation activities.<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; Label containers, boxes, and bags with correct product information and lot codes.<br>&nbsp;<br> ]]></description>

Pieces can range from 1ft to 4ft and typically weigh between 5lbs â 15lbs. Taking plastic parts out of the machine, deburring, trimming, inspecting, weighing, and labeling parts for packaging. This role supports safety, compliance, and quality by managing sanitation processes, assisting with continuous improvements to sanitation practices, and working closely with Quality Assurance and production teams to produce safe, quality food products.<strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong>Ensure compliance with&nbsp;<strong>company, customer, regulatory, and consumer sanitation standards</strong>&nbsp;throughout the facility.Partner with&nbsp;<strong>Quality Assurance</strong>&nbsp;to support and implement quality and food safety programs.<strong>Oversee, implement, review, and develop sanitation policies, procedures, and systems</strong>&nbsp;consistent with company standards.Conduct&nbsp;<strong>ATP monitoring and sanitation validation activities</strong>; analyze trends and recommend corrective/preventive actions.<strong>Develop, audit, verify, and improve sanitation programs</strong>&nbsp;including MSS (Microbiological Sanitation Standard), SSOPs (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures), pest control, and chemical management.Work with&nbsp;<strong>Maintenance and Production</strong>&nbsp;to identify work orders and preventative maintenance needs to maintain&nbsp;quality of sanitation.Perform specialized&nbsp;<strong>cleaning assignments</strong>&nbsp;as needed.Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to lockout/tagout (LOTO) safety standards.&nbsp;]]></description>
